Company to look back at quarter century of innovation and growth throughout 2011

Buffalo Grove, Ill (February 4, 2011) – It’s hard to believe, but Tippmann Sports is celebrating 25 years in paintball. The company, an industry leader since 1986, has a variety of special initiatives planned for 2011 as it looks back on a quarter century of innovation and growth. For starters, Tippmann is unveiling a 25th anniversary logo and tagline as well as launching new advertising and social media campaigns.

The new tagline – “Experience. Excellence.” clearly illustrates what has made Tippmann successful for the past 25 years. The company has set the standard for reliability, innovation and product support. Tippmann’s all-encompassing goal is the pursuit of excellence and to provide players of all skill levels with the ultimate paintball experience. The new tagline will be incorporated into a variety of materials throughout the year and will help support the company’s efforts to provide players with an enhanced paintball experience.

“As we celebrate 25 years in paintball, it’s been rewarding to look back at just how far Tippmann – and the paintball industry in general – have come since 1986,” said Denny Tippmann, Jr., senior vice president and chief technology officer for Tippmann Sports. “It’s also been interesting to look back at the many products Tippmann has introduced. Every marker – from the SMG 60 launched in 1986, to the X7 Phenom launched in 2010 – really offered something new and exciting that helped to enhance the paintball experience for players at all skill levels. Of course, the 98 Custom is also special to us. Launched in 1998, it’s one of the most popular and widely played markers in paintball history.”
