BUFFALO GROVE, IL - AUGUST, 2005 - Tippmann Sports recently finalized a new sponsorship agreement with Hell Survivors®, Pinckney, Mich., one of the world's leading paintball playfields for the past 20 years. Under terms of the deal, Tippmann will maintain title sponsorship of the Tippmann World Challenge as well as continue to provide exclusive rental markers and tanks for Hell Survivors through 2009.
"We're thrilled to have extended our longstanding relationship with Tippmann Sports," said Dave Massey, founder and CEO of Hell Survivors. "We take extreme pride in being home to the very best events in paintball. And, the Tippmann World Challenge is certainly one of the most well known and highly anticipated events in the sport each year."
The newly signed agreement also calls for Hell Survivors to incorporate Tippmann's Quick Fill™ tanks and stations into its rental program. Tippmann's patented Quick Fill™ System will allow players at Hell Survivors to fill up or top off their tanks on their own with safety and ease.
"Tippmann is extremely excited about expanding our partnership with Hell Survivors," stated Patrick Ehren, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Tippmann Sports. Ehren went on to say, "We felt that Hell Survivors was the perfect forum through which to integrate the Quick Fill™ technology with the field environment in an effort to build greater awareness of the Quick Fill™ technology."
The Quick Fill™ System includes a Quick Fill™ Station and 20 ounce tanks featuring Tippmann's Quick Fill™ Valve. The system was specially designed so it cannot be overfilled, a common safety concern for paintball field owners. Plus, the system allows players to fill their tanks in less than half the time it takes to fill a standard CO2 tank - virtually eliminating the long line of players waiting to fill up between games.
"Without question, Tippmann's Quick Fill™ System is the safest of its kind on the market," Massey added. "Tippmann has demonstrated, once again, that they are in tune with the needs of today's playfields and share our dedication to keeping the sport as safe as possible for everyone involved. The Quick Fill™ is an ingenious system that really should become the industry standard."
The new partnership between Hell Survivors and Tippmann Sports also extends Tippmann's exclusive sponsorship of Tippmann Towers, two 24-foot-high overlooks with a connecting catwalk, which have been defining structures at Hell Survivors since they were initially constructed in 2004.
"Tippmann World Challenge and Tippmann Towers are both important ways for us to connect with our key consumers," Ehren said. "When evaluating sponsorships and special events, we always listen carefully to the players who stand behind our products. Response to our relationship with Hell Survivors and the Tippmann World Challenge has always been extremely positive."
The Tippmann World Challenge is a popular, two-day paintball event entering its eighth year.
