FORT WAYNE, IN (February 3, 2010) – When purchasing a new marker, every paintball player seeks durable performance, and many also want a realistic military appearance that can be easily upgraded and modified for their specific needs. Today, U.S. Army Paintball is pleased to introduce Carver One – a new .68 caliber paintball marker that meets all of these criteria and more.
Carver One, manufactured by Tippmann Sports, is the latest addition to the extremely popular and rapidly growing U.S. Army Paintball line. The new marker incorporates an array of eye catching and performance-enhancing features, including four picatinny rails for easily adding scopes or handles, a built-in foregrip, built-in sling mounts and built-in sights. Carver One also includes an 8.5” quick thread barrel, an all-aluminum die cast receiver, a heavy duty stainless steel braided gas line, and a durable matte black finish. As an additional benefit, a stock and foregrip can be purchased separately and then easily added to give Carver One a unique appearance and superior on-field control. An eGrip version of the new marker will also be available.
“Carver One is the ideal product for those players who currently rent or borrow a marker from friends,” said Ron Goldblatt, director of marketing for Tippmann Sports. “Of course, it’ll serve as a cost-effective and reliable addition to the arsenal of more experienced players too. Based on the strong response and favorable feedback to our existing U.S. Army Paintball markers, we believe players will be very impressed with this latest addition – it certainly represents a tremendous value.”
In keeping with the military theme carried through all U.S. Army Paintball markers, “Carver” is a term utilized by American special operations forces. It’s an acronym used throughout the targeting and mission planning cycle to assess mission validity and requirements. The acronym stands for Criticality, Accessibility, Recoverability, Vulnerability, Effect, and Recognizability.
“Without question, Carver One will be a durable performer,” said Denny Tippmann, Jr., Senior VP of Research and Product Development for Tippmann Sports. “We recognize the importance of newer players having a positive first impression of paintball – and having access to an affordable and reliable marker is a very important part of that. Carver One will definitely be a great addition to our already popular line of U.S. Army markers.”
Carver One, like all U.S. Army Paintball markers, will include the “Play Smart. Play Strong.” training manual, which emphasizes the importance of teamwork and strategy on the paintball field. The new marker also comes with a maintenance pack, including an Allen wrench set, marker lubricant, cleaning cable and barrel sleeve.
Carver One will be officially introduced at Paintball Extravaganza on February 9 and retail shipments are anticipated to begin in early March. For additional details about this new marker or any of the products available from U.S. Army Paintball, please visit USArmyPaintball.com.
