Paintballers can easily connect with Tippmann on Facebook, MySpace, YouTube and other sites

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (February 4, 2009) – Tippmann Sports has expanded its presence on the Web and can now be found on a variety of popular social sites, including Facebook and MySpace. In a related development, the company is reaching out to paintball players online to encourage them to submit photos and videos, which may be incorporated into the company’s future marketing and player outreach efforts. Players of all calibers are encouraged to connect with Tippmann through one of the following sites:

“Our primary Web strategy is pretty straightforward,” said Ron Goldblatt, director of marketing for Tippmann Sports. “The typical Tippmann player spends a significant amount of time online, and we want to make it as easy as possible for them to stay abreast of any company updates or new product introductions that could be of interest to them or their friends. Plus, by expanding into popular sites like Facebook and MySpace, we hope to connect with a whole new group of players as we continue to seek ways to grow the game.”
 
Tippmann’s current advertising campaign will be updated on a monthly basis and will incorporate images supplied by players from around the world. The campaign utilizes the theme “Strength in Numbers, Pride in Individuality,” to highlight how Tippmann players take pride in customizing their markers. This celebration of individuality encouraged Tippmann to reach out to players to secure action shots featuring their personalized markers.
