FT-12 Flip-Top Marker Now Available to Players Everywhere

New marker incorporates modular internals to help reduce maintenance time by 75 percent

Fort Wayne, Ind. – Earlier this year, Tippmann launched a groundbreaking new rental marker for field owners that can be serviced in less than 60 seconds without tools. Based on overwhelming demand and excitement from consumers, the company is now offering the same technology to paintball players everywhere. The Tippmann FT-12 is a new, semi-automatic .68 caliber marker that has been specially engineered to help players reduce maintenance time by as much as 75 percent.

“This marker has been one of the most talked about paintball innovations of 2012,” said Denny Tippmann, Jr., chief technology officer for Tippmann Sports. “Without question, disassembling and servicing a paintball marker has never been easier. The FT-12 takes player convenience and time savings to an exciting new level.”

The FT-12 is a compact marker with an ergonomically-positioned front vertical grip, which is ideal for a wide range of players. The marker’s patent-pending design makes gaining access to internals significantly easier – simply unscrew the barrel, push the unlock button on the collar, remove the barrel nut and flip the top half of the receiver off. Once inside, the modular layout of the FT-12 allows for incredibly fast and worry-free access to all key parts.

Other noteworthy features integrated into the FT-12 Flip-Top marker, include:
A top non-cycling cocking handle with built-in cover to protect against dirt and debris
A 1.5 inch blade trigger with a short pull for faster firing and a more responsive feel
An 8.5 inch high-performance barrel for greater accuracy
A built-in sight and offset feedneck for easier targeting
An internal gasline, offering an enhanced look while minimizing the potential for gasline damage
A recessed safety, which is easy to engage
A built-in barrel bag hook for fast and sturdy attachment
Tippmann’s inline bolt system, which delivers consistent and dependable performance

“Initial response to this technology among field owners has been extremely positive, so we’re excited to now be offering it to players,” said Patrick Ehren, vice president of sales and marketing for Tippmann Sports. “The new FT-12 is ideal for anyone seeking an incredibly easy-to-maintain marker that has the proven reliability of a Tippmann.”

The FT-12 is expected to be available later this month and will retail for $129. For additional information, interested players are encouraged to click here.
