TIPPMANN LAUNCHES NEW INTERACTIVE MARKETING CAMPAIGN
A new interactive marketing campaign to encourage paintball players to share their Tippmann experiences
BUFFALO GROVE, IL - January 11, 2007 - Tippmann Sports, a leading manufacturer of high-performance paintball markers and related accessories, is unveiling a new interactive marketing campaign to encourage paintball players to share their Tippmann experiences. The campaign will be initiated with new print advertisements, which will promote the company's flagship products. All three of the new, two-page ads feature a large photo of either Tippmann's legendary 98 Custom, popular A-5 or new, highly customizable X7 marker as well as a photo of a real-life paintball player who uses the featured marker. The ads were designed to quickly draw the attention of targeted consumers by focusing on the relationship between players and their Tippmann-branded equipment.
"We're excited about our new ad campaign because it just resonates so well with our target audience," said Patrick Ehren, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Tippmann Sports. "Any serious paintballer knows there's a certain level of respect, gratitude and pride of ownership between a player and their marker - and this new campaign really captures that emotion. We're proud of the connection between the Tippmann name and the players who use our equipment and we felt it was important to start drawing attention to these relationships."
Tippmann's new print ads will encourage paintball players who use the company's markers to share memorable product experiences. Those interested in sharing a story can simply visit tippmann.com and tell the company about themselves, their paintball experiences and their favorite marker in a special interactive section of the site. Those who respond could potentially be featured in future Tippmann ads. The company also hopes players will utilize other popular online special networks, such as YouTube and MySpace, to provide their friends with information about Tippmann and its products.
"We appreciate every player who chooses to use Tippmann. And, we really value their opinions and individuality," Ehren added. "That's why we're reaching out to them with our new campaign and why we remain dedicated to offering markers that players can truly make their own. We understand that, for many people, a marker is much more than a marker - it really becomes an extension of their unique personality. There aren't many companies that are fortunate enough to establish this kind of connection with their consumers - we certainly feel lucky."
