TIPPMANN TOPS INDEPENDENT SURVEY OF PAINTBALL DEALERS
Company rated highest in all key categories, including brand name recognition and overall quality
FORT WAYNE, IN (April 15, 2010) – A recent independent survey sponsored by the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA), ranked Tippmann Sports as the leading brand and supplier in paintball. The late 2009 survey, conducted by Sports Marketing Surveys, was issued to a nationwide panel of paintball dealers and fields – more than 100 total dealers and fields, large and small, participated. The dealers and fields were asked various questions about their business and about the brands they carry in each product category. They were also asked to rate each brand they carry on several attributes. Tippmann Sports topped the survey in each of the following key marker categories: brand distribution, market share and hottest selling brand. In addition, the company ranked first in each of the following overall supplier and brand categories: customer service, brand name recognition, overall quality, consumer demand, dealer confidence and overall supplier average. Tippmann’s U.S. Army brand also scored well in the marker category with a number two ranking, behind Tippmann, in both brand distribution and market share.
