NEW WEBSITE ENCOURAGES PAINTBALL PLAY
here's a great new website, TryPaintballNow.com
BUFFALO GROVE, IL - There's a great new website, TryPaintballNow.com, that was designed to showcase the excitement surrounding paintball and provide one-stop access to key player resources - including the location of leading paintball fields and retailers across the country. The new, interactive site is targeted to a variety of players - including those new to paintball, those who may have left the game and existing players looking to play more and perhaps encourage their friends or family to discover the rewarding combination of teamwork and adrenaline that is unique to paintball. TryPaintballNow.com went live on May 9 and was developed by Tippmann with the support of Special Ops Paintball. The site also incorporates U.S. Army Paintball and the Paintball Sports Trade Association (PSTA).
"Paintball is in need of new players. And, as an industry leader, Tippmann felt the need to focus marketing resources on recruiting these players," said Ron Goldblatt, Director of Marketing for Tippmann Sports. "We wanted to create an entirely new medium for less experienced players because many existing paintball sites are great for experienced paintballers, but can be overwhelming for those newer to the game. With Try Paintball Now, we have a platform in place that provides a variety of helpful paintball information in a fun and easy-to-understand format."
Visitors to the new site can view numerous paintball videos, which will be featured on the site's main page on a rotating basis. Plus, there is a link to a playlist on YouTube where visitors can watch other videos showing a variety of paintball games and scenarios. Players can also enter their location (city, state or zip code) to immediately view a map and list of nearby paintball fields and retailers - a list that Tippmann believes is the most up-to-date and accurate in the industry. The new site also provides a link to the PSTA website, where players can access additional information on the sport of paintball. Finally, anyone who visits TryPaintballNow.com can sign up to win a variety of prizes as well as receive paintball-related news and special offers.
"Without question, this is a wonderful time to discover paintball. There are so many great options for players when it comes to equipment and places to play - you can easily take up the game today regardless of your location or budget," Goldblatt added. "We created this new site because we feel there's a significant group of people interested in giving paintball a shot - they just need a little more information, guidance and encouragement. And, that's exactly what TryPaintballNow.com provides."
TryPaintballNow.com will be used to reach beyond traditional paintball websites and will be marketed heavily through leading online social networks as well as general sports sites and sites for active-lifestyle consumers, such as Sports Illustrated for Kids.
