TIPPMANN WORLD CHALLENGE WELCOMES PLAYERS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE
International participants heading to Hell Survivors as popular paintball event continues to grow
Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Tippmann World Challenge has always pitted Tippmann users against the rest of the world. But, this year’s event will truly take on an international flavor as players from around the globe descend upon Hell Survivors in Pinckney, Mich. For the first time, players from the Netherlands and France who participated in two of the six international Tippmann Challenges held earlier this year will be taking the field in Michigan on September 24 and 25.
“We’re thrilled to serve as host for the worldwide players who are coming overseas to experience this unique event,” said Dave Massey, founder of Hell Survivors and creator of the Tippmann World Challenge. “I think this really says a lot about the growth of the Tippmann Big Game Series – and paintball in general – around the world. It’s rewarding to see so many first time visitors from numerous countries planning to attend this year’s event. Tippmann has certainly done a great job spreading the word and, more importantly, continuing to support paintball players on a global basis. Besides the European visitors, we’ll also be hosting a very large group of players from Canada.”
Including the original Tippmann World Challenge, there are now nine Tippmann Challenge Series events in countries spanning the globe, including three in Canada, Russia, France, South Africa, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. In keeping with Tippmann’s longstanding mission, these events have helped to generate excitement and build awareness for paintball around the world while also introducing new players to the game.
“We’re really putting the ‘World’ into the Tippmann World Challenge this year,” said Brent Cunningham, Director of International Sales for Tippmann Sports. “It’s been nice getting to know guys like Jonas Roumilly from France and Wido den Hollander from the Netherlands, representatives from their teams. I know they’re really excited to be visiting the U.S. and eager to take the field at Hell Survivors. Without a doubt, this year’s Tippmann World Challenge promises to be a lot of fun for everyone.”
The Tippmann World Challenge, held at Hell Survivors since the event started 13 years ago, currently stands at seven wins for the Tippmann team and five wins for the World team. For a complete schedule, lodging information, and other details please visit: www.HellSurvivors.com.
